12 volt ceiling lights not working

I have a 2012 3625RE. At the rear of the RV are 2 switches, one turns on 2 round ceiling lights in the wood work and the other 4 ceiling lights. The 2 rd lights work ok. The 4 other quit working. I jumped a wire across between the 2 switches hot wires and the 4 ceiling lights came on. So the hot wire for 1 switch has become loose somewhere? I have dropped 2 of the 4 closest ceiling lights to the switch but only the 2 wires are there. Can the wires be connected in a wall with no access? Right above the switch is a 120V wall light, I took that down but no junction box behind it either? I can jump across to get to work but I hate to leave a possible loose connection somewhere to cause a problem later.
What ideas do you have?

Obviously you are good from the switch to the lights, proven when you jumper the hot from the working switch. Are you sure you haven't blown a 12v fuse feeding the switch that is dead? The red led in the fuse panel indicating blown fuse will only illuminate with the switch in the on position.

I didn't know the light would only illuminate (blown fuse light) with the switch on. I did check all the fuse with a tip tester that beeps and lights up. However, I'll double check your suggestion.

A while back we had a bunch of teenage granddaughters staying the night with us, sleeping on the floor of the living room. I guess we had not shown them which switch controlled the four pancake lights on the ceiling. I guess they saw switches on the lights and they either got a broom to turn off the lights with those built in switches or the big girl hoisted one of the smaller ones to turn all those off. The next day, they are gone home, and I couldn’t get the lights on with the wall switch. Out comes the ladder and that’s when I discovered what they had done. Have you had any kids staying the night lately?

Don't think that is his issue as they came on when he jumped a different hot at his switch.

I found the problem. The switch leg went directly to a fuse and had burned out at the distribution box. You had to take off the cover to see it. In fact it had gotten so hot it melted the two plastic side panels on each side of the screw and melted the wire covering. I guess I was blessed. I have changed the bulbs out to LED and spliced the wire to the wire next to it (it was the hall light). The 4 fixtures X 2 bulbs= 8 bulbs @ 1.5 Amp = 12 amp. LED for all 8 was only 2 amp draw so now there is 10 bulbs pulling 2.5 amps. That shouldn't be a problem. NOTE, I found many of the other screws loose in the box!!!
