Sorry to hear RLWhit won't be at the rally this year. A great couple and we'll miss them.

We are also working on PartyCrashers. They are a little shy to sign up since they are SOB's.....*LOL, but we'll get 'em I'm sure.

Sue & Debbie,

According to the map I was given at the time I made reservations for this year's gathering 327A does exist, 328A does not.

Sue,

I'm not sure which map you have showing a site 328A, but I think I remember a referance to that site a few years ago, so maybe its been renumbered. The current map I have indicates 327A is on the inside of the loop between 326 & 327 directly across from 342.

Hey, Hey,.....we might be able to come.

Husband gave the thumbs up for attending the rally at Shasta.

So tomorrow if I can organize my time right then I will call and see if there are any spots left....

Part of my problem is I need to correspond my time with my husband, he has the only cards I need to make a reservation on the phone. My purse was stolen yesterday, and right now the only thing I own is a set of keys( lucky I had them in my hand when this happened). Oh hey!, I have trailer keys too.....really thats all I need right

I do have a couple questions.....

Is the list of attendees current? I'm only wondering of what my chances are.

Also if we do attend, is there any plans for that famous BBQ that has happened in the past? What about white elephant....do I need to plan for this? Where would I find info on what we need to sign up for?

Many thanks....

Really can't wait to get there and see everyone!

Denise, glad to hear you can make it! Sue is updating the list, but I believe it's current. I've arranged the BBQ again and details will follow as we get closer. Sue is putting things together to post in the near future, but is tied up with details for the Tuscon Rally at the moment. Stay tuned!

Sue I called Lake Siskyou to verify the site of 327A and she said yes it's good. Hopefully it will be a easy site to get into not to much experience at backing up.

Searchers-

If we get a spot we will be there. If not then we'll drive up just for the BBQ, and Dave Anderson's ( and a few others) stories around the campfire. LOL!

Thanks for the response, I will keep looking.

Denise,
I hope you get a spot! We missed you last year. The rally will be much the same as it always has been since that sseems to be very successful. In the next 3 months we will be posting the agenda and for signups, etc. We will of course do the White Elephant so the Dancing Flowers can find a new home and a new adventure. We are adding a craft afternoon for the ladies and maybe "Look What I Did to My Truck" for the guys. See you soon.
Happy trails.....................

Rally Sign-up:

Our friends (Ron & Ginger) used to full-time in their 5th wheel. Then, they got talked into accepting a job that gave them housing and they have been doing that for a few years now. They sold the 5th wheel, have a motorhome but are missing life on the road. To make a long story short.... they are looking around at 5th wheels again and have signed up to come to Lake Siskiyou.

We are trying to get them signed up here at the MOC also.

Does anyone know if there are sites available for this rally? I thought maybe we were brokering available sites through the MOC??

Contact the campground. So far we have not had cancellations so I don't think there are any previously reserved sites that are now available. There may be some as we get closer to rally time.
Happy trails..........................

Ray & Pam... Hopefully you are calling Lake Siskiyou and talking with them daily to see if there are any cancellations?

According to the folks I talked with at Lake Siskiyou, many of the sites in the 300 area for this year are booked by non-MOC members so don't wait for a fellow MOC member to cancel to be able to get a site.

At last year's rally we tried to book a site for 2008 but the 300 area was already booked up!... We finally obtained our site in February when one of "them" canceled.

We got smart and already booked our site for 2009 and won't have to go through this again plus we got to pick which site we wanted. If we end up not going, we can always cancel.

We'll keep our fingers crossed that you can get a site.

Here's their phone number:

Phone: 530-926-2618
TOLL FREE: 888-926-2618
They answer the phone on weekends now....8am to 5pm when not busy at the check-in booth.

EDIT: I see Ray & Pam's names on the rally list......
