Norcold 2118 door alarm contacts hot!
Hey all,
I just discovered a weird issue with our Norcold 2118 RV fridge. The door alarm contacts on the left side of the fridge compartment have three contact "buttons" and the very top one is almost blistering hot to the touch. Hot enough that it's started to discolor the sealant around it.
Has anyone else had this issue or know what could be causing it and how to fix?
I tried searching the threads here and googling but haven't found anything on it yet.
I've included a photo for reference.
Thanks in advance!

I saw this on the FB page. This goes to the door flap heater. I believe he just disconnected the wiring.

Thanks for the reply! Which FB page? I might want to check that out. I'm not familiar with a door flap heater. I may have to go back to the parts diagram to see if I can find that. It was the parts Dia. That showed it being the door alarm contacts.

In this case the link doesn't seem to work as FB responds with:

And I learned something new about this fridge having a perimeter heater to remove condensation.
