Propane on?
I have always traveled with the LP turned on and the fridge operational. Never experianced any problem. Is this unsafe? I have heard both ways.

I also travel with it on. Going 60 MPH and meeting another coming the other way with about 10 feet between the two is more of a concern.

I've never turned mine off, except to close a tank to take it to refill. No issues.

Only place I've ever been challenged on propane is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. They will check to make sure it's off.

Always traveled with it on, but would turn it off before Gasing up (when we had a TT and Gas TV) didn't worry much about it once switched to Diesel. Worry even less now since we have a Residential Fridge.

Always on...I see no reason to turn it off, and good reasons to leave it on. My refer. always has food in it, and I sorta like keeping it cold!!

Always on when traveling. Never a problem. Only once did the fridge fail during the trip, when the "fire" went out and it failed to relight. Got to destination, heard "beeping" in trailer, discovered fridge was in alarm. Reset, everything lit off fine, never had a problem since.

We always kept ours on. We always fueled at truck stops in the truck lanes (all diesel pumps in those areas). I just don't see where there would be any type of hazard involved.
