Trailair Air-Ride Pin Box - used twice
I have basically a brand new a Trailair Air Ride pin box. It was used for 2 trips - Wind Gap, PA to Sewell, NJ and Sewell, NJ to Elkhart, IN - a grand total of 782 miles. It's rated for 18,000 lbs.
I bought this trying to help my wife with her back issues and we found it wasn't helping her. It definitely made a difference in the ride, but it didn't help with what we were looking for, so I had it taken off and replaced it with another type of pin box.
I paid $1482 for it brand new and installed couple weeks ago.
Asking $1200 OBO - local pickup only in the Boothwyn, PA area (19061).
There's no way I can ship this.
Any reasonable offer could be accepted!

WE had Morryde install 7k IS, disc brakes and their pin box. Also picked up an air ride Trailer Saver hitch for the truck.
When I bought the Trailair that I'm selling we thought it was the bouncing up and down that was hurting her, but then found it was the chucking. This pin box works great for the up and down, but doesn't help with the chucking.
The configuration now is Morryde's rubber pin box taking care of the chucking and the Trailer Saver hitch takes care of the up and down. Much more expensive this way, but she has rods in her back and we didn't need to stop and let her walk around for a few minutes like we used to and she wasn't in pain. The ride home was more like riding in a car instead of a 1 ton DRW pulling a trailer - yeah we felt the bumps, etc. but they were "softer" and not the hard pounding you usually have.

Just a heads up you may have an issue selling it as you can buy that pin box new from Lippert for $1085 and Camping world has the 21,000lb verson M19 of the same pin box for $857 with an additional $50 off so $807 Freight is $100.
You can also buy their top of the line FlexAir for under $1200 new

Yeah it was quite a change LOL. But it worked great - money well spent and she's comfortable; that was the objective. If I knew what the outcome would be I would have done it a long time ago. It was a lot of money and I debated back and forth on it for several months and then bit the bullet and just did it.
Yes we are planning to be at the National Rally this year. We wanted to go last year but had already committed to another rally the same week. This year the two rallies are on different weeks so we absolutely plan on being there this time.

too bad i just bought an airride.....(pin box 1116 $1006 delivered).
you should specify the model number and or bolt hole pattern of the box
also i stopped a lot of chucking when i change my brake controller from 7 to 8 1/2
i was told that my ford is doing most of the stopping and the trailer is pushing
(chucking)
with the controller at 8 1/2 a of chucking is gone

I felt the same way about the ride in the TV but wondering if the 5er got less shock from the TV? Wonder if anyone has seen frame flex using the Trail-Air?
