Furnace

Hello,

My furnace turned off yesterday and won’t turn back on. I have two full tanks of propane as well. The heater will turn on and roughly 30 seconds later it’ll turn off. The fuse is good as well. I took the panel off outside and there is a flashing red light. I’ve reset it and it’ll run then shut off.

Any ideas of what may be going on?

Thanks!

If it isn’t igniting, it could be the igniter isn’t working, maybe sail switch not closing, circuit board issue, water getting the board wet, gas not getting to the furnace, flame sensor dirty or bad. Is this rig still under warranty? Might be worth checking. Welcome to the forum.

In the Files section there are some pretty good troubleshooting and information manuals. One of these should help diagnose the problem.

Thank you. We bought it as is two weeks ago. I spoke with the dealer and they think it may be a circuit board issue? I have ZERO knowledge on these so that means nothing to me. Thanks for your help.

Posting your RV/TV specs really help with recommendations.

Your furnace probably is telling you the issue with the blinking lights - there is a list that tells you what they mean. I've had 2 failures similar to yours and they were the board.

When I've had that happen it was the sail switch both times.

How do I know what it’s telling me? It’s trying to start but can’t. I know nothing about this nor do I know how to go about diagnosing it without taking it to a mechanic.

If it is the sail switch, will it keep trying to start? Do you know?

I have. Good information just not sure how to apply it. Also, I can’t seem to figure out what the blinking light is or means.
