Roof Tear

Up on top yesterday inspecting everything, noticed a tear in the roof just behind the termination bar behind the front cap. Probably 15" across. I have the Dicor EPDM roof. Called Keystone and sent them pictures. Susan in warranty indicates they will allow to have the roof laid back 4 feet, re-glued, laid back down and a new termination bar. I think that should do it. Does anyone agree/disagree? My issue is getting it into the shop ASAP. Lifestyle (my dealer) in KC says the soonest is mid-December. I'll check Coachlight in Carthage and Flint Hills in Wichita. In the interim, what can I do to keep it from getting worse, or worse yet, keeping water out. It doesn't appear that the tear goes all the way through at this time. Not sure if it isn't where the roof material may have been doubled over. Thanks for your help.

CW and RV dealers sell roof repair materials including eternabond tape. I would check with a dealer for the best temporary patch to use, as eternabond for example is not.

Check with Keystone, but I had a warranty repair done at Camping World in Albuquerque even though they are not a Montana dealer and there is a Montana dealer here in town. I called Keystone, said that's who could do the repair in a timely manor and they approved it.
