Winds of Change!!!!

Cathy and I have decided to buy a "Village Home" here in Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort in Casa Grande, AZ. The home is a manufactured home and is around 1200 sq ft, 2 bedroom and 2 bath. We made a good deal with the park for a model home that will be moved to a permanent spot in the park in May-Jun time frame. Our plan is to put our Montana up in Prescott to stay in during the hot months of the summer. Prescott is usually 20-30 degrees cooler than Casa Grande. Plan on leaving the Montana up there year round, sell the truck and buy a more economical vehicle to commute and travel around.

We feel we have had a good run and seen quite abit,(not all), of the USA and have enjoyed the many friendships we have made with many MOC members.

We are going to go to Prescott this week to check out a few parks. If anyone has a recommendation I would be glad to hear it.

Sounds like a great plan Phil. We wintered in the Grande srea a few years ago. We will no doubt be doing something similar in the perhaps near future but here in the Florida area.

Good move! My aunt and uncle have lived in Palm Creek for several years and they love it.

Cute little homes!

I'm sure your friends here will especially like the big RV-sized driveway that won't have an RV in it...

Phil and Cathy, you choose my favorite park to settle in. It is beautiful there and there are plenty of activities to keep you young. We may see you there in the future. Enjoy.

Phil & Cathy,
Just remember that you are still part of the Montana family. We are all going to face that decision sooner or later. You've given Vickie and I a place to research for the future. We hope the transition goes smoothly.

Congratulations on your new home. Sounds like the two of you have followed your dreams and travels over the past few years. We too are military retirees and after Jim's second career, kids thru college, and weddings to pay we started to travel a few years back.
Enjoy....

Wishing you both the best ! Why Prescott vs. say, Sedona/VOC area or Camp Verde ? Just curious...we lived in the Sedona/Flagstaff area years ago. I understand there's a new(?) park in VOC, plus I hear there's a real nice one in Camp Verde. It's been a long time since we've been thru there...matter of fact, last time we were thru there, our home in VOC was an outlet strip mall ! Prescott is very nice...we used to go fish at Lynx Lake, if I remember the name correctly.

Prescott is a larger metro area and a little cooler than Sedona or Camp Verde.

Thanks to everyone else for the kind words. Don't plan on leaving the MOC family anytime soon.
