Learned something new here. Didn’t realize that an LED doesn’t dim like an incandescent, but just appears to dim due to a rapid pulsing that simply doesn’t let it reach full brightness. And requires additional circuitry, and wiring, to produce that pulsing. Had to read up on that one. Old brains can learn. Just a matter of retention.
