Lippert hydraulic pump help!

Our Lippert hydraulic pump burned up but I can’t find replacement part number. The part number on the burned pump is RoHS 414849 12V 090516. This for a 2018 Montana 5th wheel. Can anyone help with what replacement part number would be?

This appears to be comparable on Amazon. If you search you might find a less expensive one.

I’ll look. What does bidirectional mean?

Usually bidirectional means reversing the polarity will change the direction of the pump

As you probably already know, Lippert wants lots of money ($1400??) for a replacement. Several member have had their motors rebuilt with great results. A Search should find them. I believe there is one place is southern CA that you can mail the motor to.

On Edit: Here is the link to a Thread on hydraulic pump motor rebuilds with names and addresses of vendors. $325 (likely a little more today) is still much cheaper than a new one, despite the source.

Does anyone know what the replacement part number would be? Old number is RoHS 414849 12VDC 090516.

Also, can a pump like this that’s been exposed and no longer working due to extreme over heating be rebuilt?

I went through this nightmare and the entire pump assembly was replaced, which I think was cheaper in the long run. The actual gears of the pump were stripped out. On a note, you do not have to bleed the system, as it does it automatically. Here's some photos of the pump on my 2019. I am away from home and don't have any other paperwork with me. Good luck on it

When I had my pump motor rebuilt, it was rewound, new brushes and bearings, so basically completely rebuilt. If your motor has burnt windings, they will be rewound with new wire.
