Slide Out Issues
We have a 2023 Montana 3793RD. We had to change campsites this morning. Same campground just a different site. After moving to the new site we discovered that the left rear den slide would only move out about 3 or 4 inches then stop. It would close back without issue. Tried opening agsin with the same results. It closed without any issues. I removed the couch from the slide to check for obstructions....found nothing out of the ordinary anywhere around the slide, both inside and out. As it was sliding out it seemed to be a little cock-eyed. It closed and opened yesterday without issue. It closed this morning before changing sites. 15 minutes later at the new site it wouldn't open??? Both sites were fairly level. Any thoughts from y'all?

Is it cable driven or a Schwintek gear driven mechanism? 2023 was when they were going back to the cable drive as I recall.
Check this regardless of the type. Use your phone camera and a flashlight to look under the slide inside the RV when it fully in. There is space under there for something to have rolled under and now it's getting wedged. If nothing is there, run it out a couple of inches and go outside and check the rollers and bottom of the slide. Use a screwdriver to push the gasket out of the way and look under the slide from the outside.
If it's a Schwintek, your motors are probably out of sync. Open the compartment under the slide and look up for the controller. There are "blink codes" that help diagnose the problem and the guide is on the face of the controller. Take a picture with your phone. Google syncing Schwintek Slide System resync motors and watch a few YouTube videos.
If it's cable driven, you may have a bracket loose above the slide where the motor and cable guides are mounted.
Good luck and keep us posted.

I looked at a sales video for 2023 3791RD - both rear slides are Schwintek.

I have a 3791RD which I believe is a same or similar floor plan.
Check the Schwintek controller on that side. Mine is mounted on the ceiling in the rear most cabinet below the slide. Look for a flashing led light. Count the flashes. The first set of flashes will indicate which motor, then the second set will indicate which problem. It is most likely either out of sync or hall sensor. There is a video on how to re-sync them below.

The sticker on the controller has a legend which will tell you how many flashes indicate which problem. There is also an override button on the controller. The procedure is shown on that sticker as well.

I had the same problem. Press the little button next to the LED 7 times holding it in on the 7th time until the red and green lights flash. This puts the unit into manual mode. You should be able to run your slide in. Once in all the way in OR out sync the motors. Lets assume the slide is in. Run it out about 4" then retract it and hold the button for 5 seconds. Repeat this 4 or 5 times. Then extend the slide and do the same thing. This will sync the motors.

Update
So we found a tech through recommendations by a trustworthy source.....someone we can trust. I started this thread mentioning trouble with my right rear den slide. What I didn't mention was that within a few hours the opposite slide quit working as well!! Fast forward to the tech coming out to look at the slides. Long story short, the motors went belly up. I msy be using the wrong terminology but If I understood correctly, the motors arent what's going bad. It's a module at the top of the motor. The columns on each slide malfunctioned as well. They are both Schwintek slides. The tech went to lippert to train on slide repair. Again, I may have used the wrong terminology here but he said that there was a two year period that Schwintek/Lippert used inverted tracks and they've been failing ever since. Lucky us!! Our build falls withing those 2 years. Parts have been ordered so hopefully the repair can be made asap. Oh, to add insult to injury, I found one of my camper tires to be flat that same day.

That's good news! I just picked my rig up from the dealer today after having the schwintek replaced for the second time! Luckily I bought the Easycare extended warranty. It covered the slide and a the fridge cooling unit replacement. The only thing we can determine in that the first repair wasn't done correctly.
