Gotta Question, does anyone know?

Does anyone know if Keystone puts anything in the wall when the walls are being made to actually attach the awning to. Like a 1x4 at the top of the wall above the door or just something to screw into to actually hold an awning on. I have seen people driving highways with awnings flapping in the wind not knowing whats happening. I have had two montanas without any awning problems but I have read about people having awnings pull loose from campers and have talked to people that noticed there's coming loose and trying to reattach it but nothing in the wall but foam to hold the screws.Just makes sense the put something in the wall during construction.

Yes, the wall frames are designed to have support where needed for the awning and are specific to each model. However, it doesn’t always line up in production exactly like it should have. And if it’s Friday and they’re rushing them out the door to meet a bonus quota then their measurements might reflect that.

Aluminum structure outlines can be usually seen in the morning dew. Look outside at various angles to see and confirm location. I sometimes wonder if there is enough "Structure" in the walls for long term durability. More foam and glue than anything else. Not like old days with wood or aluminum studs every 16" like normal houses.
