Mildew & storage with the residential fridge?

Our old Thor Jazz 5th wheel had a smaller fridge and we had a couple of plastic pieces that propped the two doors open and locked them in place so it could vent and not bang into anything. We deal with an indoor storage facility that moves our trailer into a garage when we are not using it. I can't just leave the fridge doors open, when I drop off the trailer without them getting damaged. Do they make anything for our 18 cu ft residential 4-door fridge that allows the unit to vent, and secures the doors so we don't get mildew? From Robert

When I put ours in storage, I get some of those Damp Rid knock offs from Dollar Tree and put one in the fridge and one in the freezer. I still leave the doors cracked since mine doesn't get moved, but that may help you even if the doors are secured. Either way, they are only a dollar to find out.

you could but towels in the doors to keep them open. Then, just tape the doors so won't open an further. Problem solved:-)

I read somewhere that someone extended the locking nob so it could tighten the doors down against something like a foam noodle with a CD on the nob end to catch the doors.

Ours has been in storage for 8 months so I will have my Machete ready when I open the doors next week. haha. Our Samsung butts tight against the island when the slide is in so there is no way to leave the doors ajar.
