Vacuum

So my new camper (3791) has the built in vacuum system, but looking through the manual I don’t see anything about what bag to use for replacement when it fills up... or even if it needs a bag or if that one gets emptied and reused. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Bryan

There should be a sticker on the wall in the basement. The bag in mine is a Y11.

Anything that was installed into your rig should come with documentation, instruction booklets. Vac, tv, range , microwave, etc. ,etc. I had all my paperwork punched for a 3 ring binder. Whatever was to small went in clear 3 ring covers. Anything I have added along the way goes in the "BIG BOOK". This makes things easier when looking up something I cant remember. This book always stays in the trailer. I also keep a mileage, destination journal. Dates, miles traveled pulling trailer, campsites, number of days, misc services on rig. I know how many days my rig has been in the sun, wind , etc. This also stays in rig. Easier to remember things when written down. One can always google if no information was supplied.

Happy times in your rig, Keith

Just a word of warning, check and make sure that they installed the bag before you try using it. My vacuum did not have the bag installed and it was just luck that I checked before using it.
Happy roads to you.

I'm gonna guess your vacuum is the same as ours. We also have a 3791RD 2019 model. I found them on Amazon for $15.99 set of 5.

I think I used my on board vacuum on 1 trip. Got tired of hooking it up and putting it away, so I got a stick vacuum battery powered. quick and easy.

lol! Yeah we have one of those too. I like the dustpan feature of the built in vac though... just sweep into a pile, open the door, and the dirt disappears!

Thanks!! Added this to my wish list. We were wondering if we should reuse or buy new, but didn't know where the new ones were.

yep....I have a 2020 3931FB unit with this vacuum system and love it. I had gone on Amazon too and ordered that exact package. Probably pretty standard for our rigs.

We have a 3160RL, I replaced my vacuum too. The "cordless" vaccum that came with the unit couldn't finish vacuuming the LR/kitchen area. I had about 5 minutes run time, tops & it was out of juice, needed a 24 hrs to recharge the battery.

Will anybody tell me why the stairs are vented where this vacuum set up is? More specific there are kick plates on each of the two stairs (the bottom one on the kitchen floor is where the vacuum set up is) and if you leave one of the ceiling vent fans on is sure sucks in the summer heat thru those "vents" or kick plates?? Thanks in advance

this is a 2019 3761FL

Thank you sir I’m now well educated on the subject matter after reading that entire chain and I’m going to block them with leftover reflectix during the summer that I originally bought to use in various windows
Thanks again Carl.
