Rafter material on High Country

Can anyone confirm the type of material that is used for the High Country roof rafters?

They use wood rafters just like a S&B.

Is this shown in the literature anywhere?

We are looking at a High Country 331RL. I am a little concerned about the possibility that it has wood rafters. Should I be concerned? Pros and Cons?

Concerned - not unless you weigh in at 900 pounds or a very large oak tree falls on the roof. This is a 'standard;' RV building method across most lines. The luan plywood between the rafters and under the roofing does a pretty good job of holding everything together.

They are not just a 2x4 but are shaped to a radius to let the roof arch. I had a chance to look at ours when I installed the front a/c and was happy with what I saw in our '14 HC
