RV Education

Just came across an interesting set of videos on You Tube.

There are like 59 of these posted, I just watched this one on hitching a 5vr.

I'm frankly impressed with Mark Polk's work. This is somewhat commercial in nature aka you can buy education videos. The content looks very good to me. I watched a couple and learned something new from both. Kind of like every thread on MontanaOwners.com

Here is the main site.

Enjoy ... Jeff

I have never locked open the coupler lock, I backup and let the pin open the jaws and they close around the pin when it's fully in the jaws. Have I just been lucky all these years or am I damaging something I'm not aware of?

Probably depends on your hitch. Instructions for my Reese say to ensure the lock is released and just back into the king pin until it opens the jaws, then lets them snap shut. Secure the lock, connect cable, do pull test, raise landing gear and go.

Have subscribed to RV Education 101 since I became a proud owner of the Montana! There is a great deal of info on those and I get a new edition about every two weeks! You can subscribe to it for free and not have to buy a thing if you don't want to!
