Garden Tub vs. Neo-Angle Shower
The pictures in the brochure and all of the models on our dealer's lot have the Garden Tub. What does the Neo-Angle Shower have to offer? Can anybody direct us to a photo?

Don and Bonnie,
The Neo Angle shower enclosure is the same overall shape as the tub, but smaller (about 32" out each way from the corner). Instead of the raised tub walls, it is shower floor height and easier to step into. the faucet valves are raised to chest level, as there is no need for a tub fill. On those models that have the Neo Angle shower, that is all that is available. On those models with the tub, you can get the neo angle shower as an option. I can only assume you get more floor space with that option as the footprint of the shower is smaller than the tub.
Here is a pick of the neo angle in a 2006 (brushed pewter frame)
Here is a pick of the neo angle in a 2007 (black frame - door open)
They are the same between 2006 and 2007 except for the frame color.

I always thought I had the shower, guess I have the tub. However, the "tub" is only good for pets and small children. It isn't very deep.
Happy trails...........................

For anyone with mobility issues, the shower is your best bet. No need to worry about getting the legs that are having issues over the higher edge. That said, the garden tub higher edges might keep water in better. As with most things, the choice is all determined by your needs. Nice that there is an option.

The garden tub we had in the 03 Big Sky feels bigger than the neo shower we have now. The other noticeable difference is the lower step to get into the neo shower. For turning room if the 03 garden tub is the same size and the 07, I wish we had the garden tub back.

I don't know... Cheryl can sit in her tub and leave the shower door open and watch the bedroom TV while taking a bath. Not something I would want to do... but she's done it 4-5 times in the few months we had this 3400.

I hope Dory does that - I'll get some bubbles, candles, and a fresh bottle of Zambuka.

Have NOT done a measurement of the units, but believe that the showers AND the tubs are now smaller than they were in 04.
Comments about getting in and out are right on, much easier to step into the shower, friend of mine who has MS cannot do the tub.
Brad, you excited bout that new rig or what!
Dave, love that graphic! Almost fell off the chair laughing!
I love the shower - - - for dog bathes. They do not!

Interesting discussion. Like I said I thought a tub would be much larger. I agree that a shower if it has no tub would be easier to get in and out of. My leg does have the "issue" and I have stumbled several times getting out. Really something to think about when ordering. We bought ours off the lot and that configuration was all the dealer had in all the Montanas he had on the lot.
Happy trails.....................

I looked at the tub and shower before ordering my coach. I felt like the shower had more room, and as mentioned, easier to get in and out of. Have been very happy with the shower.

Sue, I am afraid if I sat down in the tub Bob would have to come to my rescue when getting out. I am not sure there is room for any bubbles and me.
Dave, the sign is way to cute.
Brad, the waiting is the hard part. Enjoying the new Monty when it gets here is the easy part
Carol, I am glad that I have a raised tub in the kennel to wash my grooming dogs. I don't envy you bathing four of the little rascals in your tub. From your pictures your clan looks like they have thick coats.

Had the tub and shower on th 05 and the shower on this unit. I like the shower better because I don't seem to scrape the top of my foot getting out like I did on the tub shower combination.

Dennis,
Does your shower have the same footprint as the tub would have (up against the wardrobe)? I just assumed it was the smaller shower like the other floor plans so I didn't get that option.

I never used my tub at my house so it wasn't a thought with my purchase. The unit I have doesn't have a option for a tub. My previous trailer had a "full size" tub it was about 54 inches long. Never used it. I do like the neo-angle shower...easy to get in and out. Had one at my house too....loved it! I can say, the shower in my unit drains a LOT better than the one that I used in my house and the skylight really brings in a lot of light!

We have the tub. Would not be without it as when we have the grandchildren (3 and 5) we can bath them as they do not like showers. I have had knee replacement but have no problems getting in and out, however I doubt I could ever sit in the tub!!!! Diana

Brad, it has the same foot print as our tub shower did and sits in the corner by the wardrobe My wife thinks it may be a little smaller but if it is, it's not much. I have plenty room in it to dry off without hitting the sides.

Thanks Dennis -
I guess I was going off the 37" tub in the brochure, versus the 33" walls on the actual shower.
