Montana 3685FL

I was looking at the Montana website (wishing winter wasn't coming so soon) and I am wondering if the 3685FL sofas are straight sofas or are they "Jacknife" sofas? I have two teenagers who would be sleeping on them at night and need to know if they make out into wider beds or not. I went into one at the local dealers lot but can't remember (was too awestruck!).

Anyone have one of these models?

awestruck is a very good word to describe a Montana. A few more would be WOW, amazed, astonished, astounded, flabbergasted, overwhelmed, marvel and many more

I don't have an FL but I do believe they come with sofabeds as standard but jack knifes are available as options. Shortly an owner of a 3685 will be jumping in and give you a more informed answer.

We have a 2005 3685Fl they come with jack knife sofas that make great beds. My son is over 6 foot tall and only 13 years old and fits fine on them. They fold out to make what I call a double bed they are about 60" and 86" long, my other son sleeps on the other. We went to this model due to all the bunk house models not having big enough bed for my 13 year old who is still growing cannot keep enough groceries in the house, especially since football has started.

We have a 2006 3685fl and the 2 sofas do convert to beds. We also have 2 teenage boys and it works out great. The beds are comfortable to sleep on.

We have the "Jack knife" sofa's. Regular pull out sofa beds probably would not fit in the living room area. Our kids are 7 and 9 and the beds work great. Nancy even said that I have tested them out in the afternoon on occasions, but I will deny it.

AK Traveler, you are making a great choice if you have young kids. Or even teenage young adults. We have a 20 year old son and a 16 year old daughter. They are both very comfortable sleeping on the jack knife sofa's. As mentioned above they are also very comfortable for a quick power nap in the afternoon when I am tired. Our children are at the age where they don't always want to go camping with us so the space isn't always tied up with bunk beds like in some campers

AK Traveler, Yes the couches do fold down to make a bed. In fact, I think they are much more comfortable than the bed. The couches, when folded out make an excellent location for a quick nap and are awesome for TV/Movie watching.

they are jack knives...not a pull out, but as stated above....the make very large and comfortable beds. my wife and I slept on it one night when we had company...as we gave the bedroom to our guests...I was surprised how comfortable they really were!

My husband actually prefers to sleep on the sofas vs. the bed. He HATES the bed. So, the dogs and I get the bed and he has the TV, fireplace, and sofa and he is in heaven! Our 3.5" memory foam arrived yesterday for the mattress.
