Back to reality....

Coming down to the end of our stay here at Yankee Traveler. The reality is I had to give up my HI SPEED Road Runner and go back to the AirCard. Normally the AirCard connects at a pretty good speed but in our present location we have a very week signal. Took nearly 5 minutes to fully load this forum.
Anyway, on Sunday we pull out and head the Monty northward to Salt Springs and a visit with fellow MOCers John and Nancy aka wa4bmg. Will probably spend a week. Than after a week of more aimless traveling we get to Staunton VA and the Virginia MOC Rally. We will be in Staunton the 16th to the 23rd and than head out to SE Pennsylvania on the 23rd to the 31st which includes Memorial Day. After a week in PA, we plan on being in Lake George, NY the first weekend in June for the Northeast Region MOC rally. After all that we finally get a break from actual commitments/reservations and point the Monty towards Black Lake and than the 1,000 Islands area and other points in the northeast. The only other commitments we have is in September when we head for Indiana for the Great Lakes Region MOC rally.

I wanna tell ya this fulltime RV lifestyle is a tough one.

Maybe y'all need to take a break, get yourself a stick house! Sit back and relax in the city and enjoy the lawn mowing and the worry about the weeds growing in the garden; watch the roofer fix your roof; write a few checks to various home repairman, the tax commission and an ISP for DSL; listen to the neighbors complain about the same things you've heard before, decide if the snowblower really needs to be fixed. Ya gotta change your life style before y'all have a nervous breakdown!

Drive safe, Glenn and Lorraine. Sounds like you have a pleasurable summer planned. Enjoy! Maybe we'll see you somewhere in there.

Sounds like a great summer. I love the Thousand Lakes area it is so beautiful. When I lived in Upstate NY, I had a friend who had a cottage on a lake in Canada and we have to go through the Thousand Lakes area to get there. Happy trails.

Safe travels! Let us know how you like Salt Springs. We have a month planned there in January 2006. Judy

Glenn and Lorraine: Maybe we will see you in Northern NY this summer. We travel that way quite a bit.

Have a safe trip. We plan on attending the Great Lakes rally also. Hopefully, we'll get to meet you there and I can thank you in person for all the help you've given me on how to do things.
