Many businesses put a hold on the credit card Hotels are the worst offenders. Like Michelle above the primary reason we got the RV plus card was the ease of use. Insert card, enter control number, pump fuel, drive away. We try to use the Rv lanes but so many RV'ers are inconsiderate and ignore the " pull forward when finished fueling" We tend to use the truck pumps more.

We cashed in various pay back card points for 250.00 in Applebees and cracker barrel gift card for this summers travels.

That is not always the case Walt in fact we in general find FJ/pilot to be in line or lower that most.We also will not travel far off the interstate to save a few cents in fuel.Easy off, easy on is worth money to us. If we are off the interstate that is a different story. In general most fuel stops off the interstate and not selling bulk fuel are higher in price. In our experience over the last 10 years.

Phil as you know the Rv plus card is a credit card payable at the end of every month and they do not hold anything there is no interest charge.
I'll stand by my experience. While I agree that FJ and the rest are easier to get in and out of they ALMOST always are higher. Come check out the two truck stops next to Lazy Days in Tampa. And I never have to get very far off the interstate to find cheaper fuel. Stations like WAWA, Flash Foods, Race Track usually have stations near the truck stops with cheaper prices. The trick is access with a 39 ft trailer. Sometimes life DOES get exciting!
