Camping World's Big Mistake

We arranged for Camping World to install a washer/dryer combo and a second air conditioner. While we were in SC for our son's wedding, they called to let us know it was ready for pick up. When we went to pick it up, we saw it parked and stopped by to check out the work. When we opened the closet we sure were surprised not to see a washer/dryer - then we looked for the air conditioner - not there.

After looking at each other and straching our heads, we glanced over to the Camping Wold service dock and thou and behold we saw another Big Sky parked there. Yes......we did indeed see a second air conditioner on the roof.

They did all of installations on the wrong Big Sky!!!!!!!!!!!

We are now rescheduled to have it done when we return from the NE Rally.

Some Big Sky owner is either going to be very happy or very unhappy.

Jo-Anna

.....ha ha ha ha ha.........

I am sorry for you.., but sure wish I was the owner of the other rig.

You know Camping World had to give them a heck of a deal to keep those items after Camping World took the time to cut holes and do whatever else they had to do to install.

Steve worked at camping world here in CA for a short time...at the service counter. From what he tells me; this isn't suprising! They don't run a "tight ship" if you know what I mean. Alot of crazy stuff like this goes on. That's why he won't take out MT there for any issues; he'd rather try and fix them hisself...

Oh that is too funny! I'm sure it happens, and you can bet they learn to check the license plate next time. Unfortunately, you now have to wait, but at least they now have experience installing your appliances in the Big Sky!

Sure wish that other Big Sky owner was a member of the MOC. I'd love to hear what CW told them and whether they tried to get them to pay for it or not.
Happy trails........................

Me too! You have to recruit them to the MOC, or at least get their story for us. (I know, you probably can't make it fit with your travel plans), but I sure would like to hear the end of this story! I suppose it just possible that they were there for the same work anyway, but that is a bit too much of stretch.

Thanks for telling us.

We have used CW to install two W/D, a combo unit and the stackable by Splendide its the Ariston. And they just installed our bed rails for our Trailer Saver. Have never had a problem with any work done by CW. I would never take our 5er back to any dealership to have any work done. We have taken it to Goshen, Ind. to the Keystone service center (Camp Keystone). But dealerships is the last place I would go to. GBY...
