Adding 3rd AC

Checking the prewire for my 3rd unit. I only see the 120v supply line, there doesn't appear to be prewire for the iN Command Gateway or the wire from the thermostat location. It is possible they will be exposed when the fan is removed.

My questions are:

Has anyone added the 3rd AC controlled by their iN Command system?

Were the gateway and remote stat wires there?

Thank you.

Bought our rig spicifically to avoid incommand so I can't help you there, but the thermostat control wires were behind the fan control on our rig so I would imagine what you need for incommand is also up there with the fan.

Update to my post:

I got out my (way too heavy) aluminum multifunction ladder and took down the inside flange of the MaxxAir vent fan. The wire for the remote temp sensor and the wire for the iN Command gateway were both right there and ready to go! I was a very happy camper...

Rip, let us know how it goes and what's involved with dropping a 3rd unit in. Kind of interested in this. Glad to hear yours is all pre-wired up for a 3rd unit.

Will do. One thing I know so far - shopping the equipment can save big. Trekwood price for gateway control was 235 and rvproductsshop was 119. AC needs a zone control kit and gateway to interface to iN Command (similar price dif in zone control kit).

Still contemplating replacing front w/ HP and move AC to middle. May enlist local RV tech (watched him do a fan to AC replacement on a Raptor in 1.5 hours by himself).
