Greetings fellow members,
We are Ralph and Rosie from Fenton Michigan. We currently own a 2020 3121rl Legacy Edition. This is our 2nd Montana. Our first was a used 2002 that we loved but was getting old and required a lot of tender loving care. We learned that once you own a Montana, no other brand compares so we traded it in on the new 2020. Only issue we have had is after a winter storage at an outdoor storage place without electric, both batteries were dead. After recharging, I checked the current draw while everything was off and found a load that was continuing to bring down the batteries. Leveling memory, propane alarm etc. I added a switch which kills all and this spring still had 12.8 volts after 6 months of storage. Hope to register for the September get together and meet other members.

Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to the rally also. Hopefully they can get the registration open soon and Indiana can get right with the COVID-19 restrictions.

Surprised that your battery held the charge for six months. I live in Flushing, but presently on a trip to KY TN NC OH. Last two years I have winter stored in secure indoor storage. Let me know if you require storage details; 25 miles from Fenton.

Welcome from St. Clair, Michigan!
Good to know what was drawing down the battery as we had the same issue on our 2020 3741fk.

After my dealer let my marine battery go dead a few times I finally put in a real disconnect and then replaced that battery with a true deep cycle one. We are usually connected to shore power even in storage at home. Pulled the old battery out last September and set it in the garage. When we got home from snow birding earlier this month I checked it and it still had 12.6 volts in it.
Amazing.

Congratulations Ralph and Rosie on the new trailer. Sounds like you got many many years out of the 2002, which is great to hear.
