A/C

Shaking down our 2012 Montana 3582rl. First night in her. Question it has 2 a/c units. It is 90 degryher in Wisconsin. I was running both systems on cool low settings yesterday when we got here. I then set them to auto cool. They would come on as needed. Not very good for sleeping. If you set them on cool and set the fan speed does the compressor run all the time or does the fan just run and the compressor comes on when it hits your set temperature?
Hard to tell.

If set to AUTO the fan will come on followed by the compressor as required, and then both will go off.
If set with the fan set to Low or High and temp set but NOT on AUTO , the fan will run constantly and the compressor will come on as required.

I agree the cycling on auto will drive you nuts. We let our fan run all the time on high when using the air conditioner. Some on this forum have experienced coil freeze up when running it on low.
