Will my PT50 amp EMC work this way.

Have a progressive PT50 amp emc on order and just found out that our summer spot is only a 30 amp which we can live with but now I'm wondering if the 50X will work using my 30 to 50 pigtail and still provide me with all the featured protection of the 50X or should I have the 30X emc? unfortunately all the 50 amp sites are reserved at the park.

I have the 50amp hard wired and at home just plug into a 20amp. It will only show power to one leg. So yes it will work fine.

We also have the hardwired version, and when plugged into either a 30 amp outlet or a 15/20 amp outlet using the 30 to 50 amp dogbone and then a 30 to 15 amp adapter, the single hotleg is split to feed both the 50 amp legs going into the trailer. The display always shows power to both legs when connected and of course, you are limited by the incoming power.
