I will move us out of our apartment on May 26. I need the Montana sitting in our driveway on that day. Any sooner, and we will be making double payments that I do not want to make (apt and 5ver). With an 8 week lead time, I am looking at sometime at the end of March as an order date.

richfaa,

I went to the dealership today to look at another 3400RL. Curiously, there is the same hole, with the same cover, in the same spot, in the pantry. Very strange...

What are you up to, Rich? Why are you interested in defect details on this? Is it because this is one of the new ones that we will be ordering - new caps, hitch vision, Mor/Ryde, etc?
Just curious..Want to know what cam eout of the factory bad on A 3400 so we can look for it on OUR 3400.Have a list of "STUFF" that we got from this forum will share it with you at the RV show..It is a short list.

I figure this..We will be at the RV show Feb 25-27th.If the Order goes in by the first of March or so the delivery date will be the first week of May GIVE or TAKE a little. Our first outing will be the Memorial Day weekend and I want a few days to wring it out
before that. This might be a good order date for you..Don't want to be looking at a empty driveway the 26th Of may????

And..Upon inquiry Montana said the the lead time for a QUAD slide was ABOUT 8 weeks..We might want to have a chat with a Montana Rep at the show to get a handle on that/////

Your right, Rich. I'd want to be a little early... I am NOT moving back in with my parents for ANY length of time... and my kids won't let Cheryl and I move with them either. They must figure we are good enough controling their lives from a distance, probably don't feel the need for us to move in with them.

Just kidding... about the kids... If it comes in a week or two early, it should not throw off our budget too much.

Sounds good, Rich. Trying to get some sort of an idea what to expect from the reps at the show in Feb will be our best bet. I don't think we can go by past years. Radical line changes this year may throw manufacturing times off. Don't know if those ordering 3400's right now, or over the past month, would be a good comparison, or not.

Welcome aboard and congratulations! We most often connect to 30 amp rather than 50 and can run two high-draw appliances plus two laptops, TV, lights, refrigerator, etc. Among high-draw appliances I include the washer, dryer, microwave, electric side of the water heater, hair dryer, electric heaters on high. To start a third we have to turn something off. Hope this helps.

Is the fridge considered a "high draw" if on electric, Steve?

You know it never bothered us before while we were planning and busy with the details of finding the right model and options...But now that all is decided and there is nothing more to do but wait for the Rv show ...WE CAN"T STAND IT.. and it will be worse waiting for delivery..
