Dometic thermostat
Has anyone upgraded their current Dometic thermostat (see pic) to one that gives true temperature readouts ?
And if so, which one did you purchase ?
Was it an easy install ?

Haven't found a need to do that with ours. Ours are off about a degree or so and that was also true of our high dollar unit in our stick house. The analog unit in the old unit could be off a lot untill I took it off the wall and insulated behind it. In our new rig the thermostates aren't near or on an outside wall.

We have two of them like the one pictured and they are both off about 3 degrees. We just make a mental adjustment for it and see no need to replace with others that may be off too.

We bought an indoor/outdoor remote system because we use our Montana year round. I put the outdoor wireless thermometer in the convenience center so I can see when the furnace needs to kick on so we don't freeze the water pipes in the belly. The indoor thermometer we put on the counter close to the thermostat in the kitchen. Ours appear to be about 5 degrees off.

All I can say is they work but not accurate. They are very touchy and slow to the touch.
I don’t think they are worth anything.
