Yosemite Lakes 1000 Trails
Arrived yesterday and pulled into site 171. Will be here until 6 Jun, come on by if in the area.

How's the weather? We decided to head to Pio Pico for the Memorial Day weekend. Yosemite Lakes was just too far and too cold for us for just a long weekend. Take plenty of pictures of Yosemite Lakes and Yosemite Valley.
Here's a trivia activity for you: Locate and take a picture of a "Yurt". I think they are too cool.
Then at the end of June I'm heading to Yosemite for an intense week of hiking and backpacking. I'll be on the Valley floor in the backpacker's campground, then spending 5 nights in the backwoods.
Enjoy the Yosemite area. (I hope you can avoid the crowds.)

Rain today and until Friday in he forecast. We actually had Yurts in Alaska at the Army CG in Seward. Prety neat litle buildings. We will be back at Pio around the 7th of September for a time then Wilderness, then back to Pio until 31 Oct.
