I don’t mean to hijack the thread but what is the issue that the breaker needs to be replaced with an 80 amp?

The 50 amp self-resetting circuit breaker is inadequate for the draw of the hydraulic pump. LCI issues a TSB years ago about upgrading to an 80 amp breaker.

Do a Search on "80 amp breaker" and you will uncover a huge number of discussions re the 50 amp problem.

Draw when retracting the jacks, and it wasn’t very cold that day, maybe 40 degrees. Worse when it’s colder.

This is interesting. First I’ve seen or heard of this. As a snowbirder, I try to remain in warm areas and have yet to have an issue. But I guess I need to look at my newer unit and see if I have that 50 amp and maybe make the upgrade just to be safe.

Bought our rig Jan 2018. Had no issues with the hydraulic slides until a trip the week after Christmas 2018 and the thing started “jumping” (not the right descriptive word). Scared the daylights out of me. Got on the forum for research and Carl n Susan suggested the 80 amp circuit breaker might fix it…and he was right. Zero trouble since!
