I'm not sure, but I think it was included in one of our option packages? It was in our 2955RL when we bought it.
It seems to work OK. Have only had it since 2/05. We are not full timers. I think the hose provided is a bit short to reach the whole coach. Residue bag is not overly big (not a real problem so far). Seems to be a usable feature, and we supplement it with a small Dirt Devil in the bedroom area. I'm sure if you post in another area, many full timers will have more profound observations.
