Weigh it loaded as you would normally travel, then start beating the tambourine if needed.
Then again some of us in the recreational group put more miles on our rigs than some full timers. And some of us have to load water because the campground doesn’t have water or they are boondockers. Then there are those of us with lots of toys. I will sometimes have my jet ski with me. You have to plan for the heaviest weight you might carry on any given trip not the average weight right?

Number one thing to remember is MOST salesmen want to make a sale and DON'T know what they are selling having never owned a RV. Do your research and if possible buy your RV first and then size your truck next. I didn't do that on my first truck going from a Nissan pickup and the salesman telling me I could tow anything with my new 2001 F-250 diesel SRW. My first RV was a 2880 Montana and I was over 1000# over my GVW of my truck and needed air bags to get bumper off ground. My second RV was a 2010 3000RK pulled by a 2007 3500 SRW and I am still about 400# over my GVW loaded lightly.I went with the 3500 instead of 2500 thinking the extra 700# would be enough. NOT.Do your research and weigh your equipment. A lot of these new Montanas are getting bigger and heavier and need a dually.

That 5ver is the front kitchen.. 3/4 is not enough truck. 350 or 3500 saw is not enough. Duality, or fl 60 or similar. We had a 3500 saw. Over by a few hundred pounds. Srw 13200 gvwr... went to a 3500 dually, 4:10, Aisn.. now, we can tow just about any Rv....up to 31000 lbs..

GVWR 10,000 lbs.
Front GAWR 5,200 lbs.
Rear GAWR 6,100 lbs.

Montana 5th Wheel 3820 FK:
Weight of cargo not to exceed 3,550 lbs.
UVW 13,200 lbs.

Fifth wheel hitch 16K

I would appreciate all the help I can get. Will this combination work safely?

Quick answer is NO. You will be over gross on the rear axle and truck gross. You need more truck. Will it tow it, yes, safely, NO, legally NO.
