Quartzsite 2021?

It looks like the show is on for now from January 16-24.
I know it's early but I would like to attend the "Montana circle" again next year.
Anyone else planning on going?
I hope I submitted this in the correct location. Otherwise moderators move this thread.

Becky and I are tentatively still thinking we will again do the circle in January, and of course if we do, there will be some changes in the things we normally do to help maintain a safe gathering. I also don’t think most really care about the big tent event, but we will see how that goes.

Quartzsite

Pat and I are looking forward to joining the circle. We enjoy seeing everyone and we like the tent and the swap meets. Hopefully this will all be over by January

Every report I've read indicates this virus will be around for a couple years, so we need to just get used to dealing with it. I'm sure once they develop a reliable vaccine, things will improve, but in the meantime, we will have to be smart about how we do things to protect ourselves and others. Oh, and this RV show heading is for RV shows where you go to drool over the new rigs, not for rally's and get togethers like at Quartzsite.

No problem Bob as I moved this thread to the MOC REGIONAL CAMPING CLUBS > North America MOC / Western Region portion of the forum.

I hate to do this, but Becky and I are not going to be able to Wagonmaster the 2021 Quartzsite Circle. We have too many things in the way to also do this. We will be able to deliver the banners and other stuff for the function, or meet up with whomever wants to take this on, as we hopefully will finally get to Sun City in the next couple of weeks. I read that the big tent show is still scheduled to be held, but with all the virus activity increasing, I would think that may change. We are also thinking that with all the normal food activities with our group at Quartzsite, those things may have to be avoided this time.

We have been to Quartzsite twice since we happened to be traveling in the area. It is a experience . We live 2162 miles from Quartzsite so it is a little out of our range for a road trip.

Alta and I will be going to Quartzsite this year, but not anywhere near that tent. We will arrange to meet with Bob, pick up the equipment, and arrive several days early to set up the circle. Any help setting up will be welcome. We will start another thread for sign up. Of course, we will be safe, but staying in your own RV in the middle of the desert seems pretty safe.
