Garman and TomTom POI Files

Sometime way back when, I provided two files for Low Clearances and they were linked to the MOC Home page under "MOCpoi's"

I believe it is time to link them to a web site that has more up-to-date information.

The web site is the GPS DATA TEAM web site. Don't let it intimidate you. This site is very robust and can meet almost all of your needs and wants when it comes to GPS systems.

On the home page link I provided above you will see a link to "Garman POI Manager," and "TomTom POI Editor." Once linked to one of those pages you will be able to convert to the correct file for your GPS.

You can navigate to find different POI's and use the editor to convert them to your format. Or, if you are just looking for United States Low Clearances, you can CLICK HERE

Administrator/moderator - could you change the POI link to reflet the GPS Data Team's web Page?

Thanks.

Oh, jeez, Waynem--can ya repeat that single-syllable words for the GPS-challenged group? Just kidding. I think we can figure it out because your directions were clear.

We bought ourselves a Garmin Nuvi recently, but haven't done anything more than open the box and circle it cautiously. I guess we better take off the plastic bags and start reading.

Carolyn,
Which word is it;

I'm confused.

Edited: p.s., Do Not Read The Instructions. Just work on the WAG principle until you really need SWAG, then read the instructions.
