ATTENTION: Quartzsite Attendees

A few MOCers have indicated an interest in volunteering some time to help eradicate Buffelgrass at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. (see link below outlining the problem).

The campground at Organ Pipe is “dry camping” and we know all you Quartzsiters enjoy that. There are normally no reservations, it is first come first serve, and there are only a limited number of sites for rigs larger than 35 feet.

HOWEVER, for anyone willing to volunteer a day of pulling Buffelgrass, we can reserve a space for you in one of the larger camp sites.

If interested, please send us a pm with your date of arrival, size of rig and duration of stay.

We are sorry but we're going to have to cancel our trip to Organ Pipe. Due to health reasons we have to be back home by the 27th. That would not leave us time to get down there and enjoy the scenery. Thank you for the arrangements and we're very sorry we won't be able to make the trip.
