What is this outlet for?

Inside the coat closet next to the front door of my 3075 there is a 110v power outlet and a hole for a power cord through the bottom of the closet to the back of the fuse box - anyone know what this is for. One thought was it might be for a cel phone charger.

Not sure,

But I think The central Vacuum plugs in there, (in our 2980 anyway). But too cold out side right now to go and check .
Some one will come along shortly with the answer.

The outlet could be for the on board vacuum cleaner or the inverter?

On my 2980RL, the central vac plugs into this receptacle.

Yes the outlet is for the central vacuum system. If you need a outlet for your cell phone charger, the outlet can also be used for that. I like keep my charge in the close where it is out of the way

Thanks everyone - I ordered my 3075 without the central vac as my wife prefers her own .
