Couple of nice sites for the 25th Anniversary trip

During our travels to New Orleans, we were fortunate to have had a couple of very nice sites for the rig to be seen in. Although we still prefer the sites at Topsail Hill Preserve in the Florida panhandle, these two were noteworthy nonetheless. The first was at Pontchartrain Landing RV Park in New Orleans. It was one of the pricey presidential sites, but we did enjoy it. Here are a couple of photos of the site:

complete with hot tub, patio, grill, etc.:

The on the return trip, we were pleasantly surprised at our site at the KOA in Bowling Green, Kentucky, which exceeded our expectations for an overnight stay to break the trip into two more manageable sections:

All in all, a memorable trip!!

Glad you had a nice trip.
Those are great sites but……
I’m glad they’re not that nice at Greenbo
because it would be next to impossible to get a reservation.

Happy belated 25th! Thanks for those pictures. I'm always looking for something that compares with Topsail Hill, and my husband has wanted to go to New Orleans for some time now. We'll have to check it out.
