Can anyone suggest a CG in Thermopolis, WY? We will be staying there for 7 days in August.

Thanks

I thought there is a CG right at the Hot Springs? Been passed it but never stopped.

I did a search and I think I would stay at Eagle River CG. The one I was thinking about has some really bad reviews.

Eagle River is good. Enjoy the pools and the area. One of the many little known gems in my native state.

Just make sure you are upwind of the springs.

A few years ago we stayed at Fountain of Youth CG. The had a huge out door hot mineral springs pool. Only negative I remember, as many parks, was the close by train tracks.

We visit Thermopolis each Memorial Day weekend to honor past family members and as a shake-down cruise for the beginning for the camping season. Having stayed at both the Fountain of Youth and Eagle RV, we prefer the Eagle RV because tends to be a little quieter. The fountain of Youth can get very busy as a result of the Hot Springs pool they have on site.
