In Lady Lake there is Recreation Plantaion. We stayed there a few years ago and found it to be a very nice, clean CG.

We are wintering at the Encore Lake Magic near Disney. Ample size lots, nice and clean. Lots to do in the area, and yes we are paying by the month. This is our fourth year at this RV Resort. I think Glenn & Lorraine recently checked out several places in central FL and will probably be here shortly with a few suggestions. To check out the Encore resorts go to http://www.rvonthego.com/. Lake Magic is listed in Trailer Life under Clermopnt, but is actually closer to Kissimmee and Orlando. If you end up in our area, be sure to join us for one of our monthly get togethers.

Joyce, I see that Lake Magic is charging $1200+ for Feb rent by the month (less for the other months). Also there is a $90 or $93 monthly "resort fee"? Plus electric I assume. Are they still charging this amount in light of the economy? Just curious...

Ditto on a bad experience at the "blue parrot" Small lot, bad location. Recreation Plantation was OK. We are south of lady Lakes Near Disney at Mouse Moutain. You may want to check out the web site for prices.... www.mousemountainrv.com Plenty to do around here. Nice park, Older but well kept. There are a couple more in the area. Depends on how uch your budget will allow. BTW..It gets kind of Cold up at Lady Lakes.

Old Mill RV Park in Umatilla, Fl has larger lots. We are at Southern Palms, Eustis, next to the fair grounds 452 and 44. Flee market every Thursday at the fair grounds.

John,
Thursday market day at the County (Lake) fairgrounds are grand! I miss them being down at the stick house in Oviedo unless I am off from work. Lots of cool "stuff" and some real nice locally grown produce. Wall Street in the Dirt is a perennial favorite for the good deal! There are lot of nice things to see/do in the Leesburg, Eustis, Umatilla area.
Their name escapes me right now, but there is at least one MOCer couple that have been to and are returning this year to Olde Mill Stream RV Resort (website http://www.oldemillstreamrv.com/). As we have property in Umatilla and that is where "Bella" resides we don't have to worry about RV parks, but we drive through Olde Mill Stream periodically and have been impressed by the lot sizes and the overall atmosphere of the park. Their website states: Each spacious site measures 40' x 60', with an 8' x 20' pad, picnic tables and full hook-ups (30/50 amp service). They also have free wi-fi.
