Heading to Coos Bay Rally from GA

Hi friends,
We are heading out the first of June and plan to head north and then across to the rally. I'd love any sites we need to see and routes that have worked for others. If anyone is heading that way and wants to travel together let us know! It's our first time going west except for a venue owner meet up in AR in Feb which was fun!

Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the west coast!

You guys are going to have a great trip; looks like you will have about 3 weeks. Tell us your route and we can offer some suggestions. Can we assume I-40 until you hit NM?

If you get the opportunity and your coming from Idaho take I84 through the Columbia river gorge.. Scenic Highway.. The Gorge was Carved out by the Glaciers. It was part of the Lewis and Clark trail... The Gorge area around Hood River famous for Kite surfing. Don't forget Multnomah Falls (620 feet)

We've made three loops from GA to the left Coast and back. We've used I10, I20, and I40 west bound and I94, I90, I80 an I70 east bound. There are so many things to see and do that it is hard to even begin to list. You can spend a month just in Utah seeing the Parks.Heading north in June is a good idea as getting out of this heat will help you enjoy your trip. As Scott said, post your route and I'm sure you will get lots of help.
