Crack in Sidewall

Has anyone out there had their sidewall repaired? Either from a collision or other event. Upon cleaning my trailer after bringing it home I found a small crack in the sidewall near the back at the lower edge of the wall. It almost looks like a screw head or something is behind the wall and it pushed out and made a smal crack. The spot is only 3/4-1" long and the dealer will take care of it.

What I am wondering is how are they going to repair it? I don't think the repair can be made invisible because it won't be hidden behind paint?

Anyone with experience out there? Come on, somebody had to cone in contact with something?
