Safety strap for levelers

Does anyone put a strap or cable on their hydraulic leveler feet to keep them from coming down while traveling? Mine hasn’t done that but it seems like a simple task to prevent catastrophic damage. I have read where it could/has happened.

Not sharpshooting your idea, but wouldnt the chances of forgetting a lock or pin on your jacks is a lot higher than a jack coming down while driving?

I have not done anything to prevent ours from creeping down but I did save this photo from someone else’s post a couple of years ago. It’s on my list of to-do’s but I think I’d just buy the parts and keep them in the truck or storage and only use if needed. I’ve also seen people use the ratcheting cargo straps to hold them up.

Yep I thought about that, but didn’t think it would hurt. Probably get a error message or something or just bteak the strap
