E3 Code Dometic Rv Fridge

Ma - FL trip. Stayed hotels in VA & SC. Had fridge on propane both nights. Fridge is cold this am but blinking code E3. Read there may be a reset button somewhere? Or will it reset itself on shore power at rv park this evening? Anyone have similar experience? Dometic double door rv fridge, 2019 model.

Take a look at this thread from another forum. There is a reset button on the flue column. They even supplied a picture of it. I bet this reset will fix it.

As always, thanks so much for all you expert input. The E3 fridge code cleared when we hooked up to shore power. Disaster averted.

Yes AC mode likely works as it doesn't use the flue column. But I suspect if you go to Propane mode you will have the same E3 error code and the refer will not cool.

No E3 code on propane. Suspect low battery causing error.

Our Dometic refer has never worked on AC since day one. The auto switch-over doesn’t work either. In fact, the light inside never has worked. We just live with it since we don’t have two months to leave it at a repair shop.

Did you check the 120 volt AC fuse for fridge on the outside control module... how about the 120 volt outlet fridge is plugged into? any power on that outlet? ALso you can easily check the two heating elements to see if they are good or bad...

The issue of not working on 120 volts but works on 12 volts is going to be easy to fix and the fridge works great on 120 mode...

YMMV
