Looking for basic Verizon flip phone

Hey all,
I'm looking for suggestions for a good basic flip phone for Verizon Wireless. This will be a replacement phone for my MIL on our plan, so it needs to be Verizon Wireless. Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with any of the flip phones any more. But Verizon does offer several. I would go to a Verizon store and see what they have.

And per google search:

Best Verizon Flip Phones comparison table
  • 1st Place. TracFone Alcatel MyFlip 4G Prepaid Flip Phone. ...
  • 2nd Place. ZTE Cymbal 4G LTE speed Verizon Prepaid Cell Phone - Silver. ...
  • 3rd Place. Verizon LG Accolade VX5600 Camera GPS Cell Phone - New - No Contract. ...

One thing to check out - how much core memory do they have. I have a ZTE from ATT store - only $30. I has 8MB of main memory. You can add another chip for expanded memory, but the phone will NOT put any main programs there. The expanded memory is for things like photos, music(I think), etc. So I have about 8-10 apps installed and can't add anymore. Sometimes, even on updates, I have to clean up or delete a few things to do the updates.
So be careful.
Oh, I don't have email installed either.

Know you have one now but my wife uses a Samsung Convoy ver, 3 and has served her cell needs well for several years. A ver. 4 is now available

Stay away from the Kyocera they offer, the Alcatel isn’t much better.
