Montana 3465SA
We ordered a 3465 today after walking through several models several times...WOW, what a bunch of good looking fivers. We've enjoyed the 2955 for 6 years but figured it was time for an upgrade. The only real complaint we've had was the decals and the spare tire holder. Reals pieces of junk....other than those it was great. Now we're looking for many years of enjoyment out of the 3465. If you've any pro's or con's we'd like to knwo them, maybe we could head off the problems. Thanks, see ya down the road.

After 3 years of looking, the 3465 was our choice when we went to order our rig but the dealer had the 3665 on his lot and made us a good deal. You've got a nice unit.

You have the best unit in my mind as we have the 3465sa 2009 unit .. some of the changes we made are we made the angle cabinet in the upper hall a coffee bar as i took out the center shelfe in the to cabinet and moved it up about 6" so the coffee pot fits nice and the ran a 20 amp plug up to it from the washer dryer circut for the coffeee pot ,then i put my bottled water in the top shelf and the coffee holder ;; next i added a hidden ladder storage over the lp tank on the curb side . i also took out the convection oven and put in a microwave but that was a big job as i had to chang e cabinets but you can order them from charger enterprise out of goshen .in..i added a direct tv to the roof.. lots of shelves ,, see you at the goshen ralley in sept and see the big changes;;;sailer

Well, we did something similar - starting with a 2955, but a 3295 intervened, and then we got the 2008 3465. It's just about ideal for us. We spend 6 months a year in it in the south and another couple of months traveling.
We've had the standard axle problem - this one a bent spindle on the right side front - replaced the axle. I've had axle alignment problems with all 3 Montanas. Also had some tire cupping, a symptom of tires unbalanced, so I had all 4 wheels balanced, and it seems fine now after about 8k miles since it was done.
I'm on my second Sylvania microwave/convection oven, and the convection just went toes up.
I put in the axle wet bolts, and I think it rides better along with the wheel balance because I notice fewer things being out of place (unless we are driving through LA). I think that's a good upgrade.
If yours came with Goodyear tires, watch for tread separation. I just replaced one (20k miles) - it looks like half of the outside circumference wore off.
No other real problems - very good RV. The only changes I did were a 12V outlet in the bathroom, added a wire shelf in the front basement, added an air compressor, and bought a foldable butcher block table to go on the end of the kitchen counter for more room (it really helps and gives half again as much counter space plus shelves underneath. The stable folds flat and is stored behind the dining chairs.

This is our first 5th wheeler. Its a 3465sa and we love it. We like the side asile and moving u[p from the TT's the extra room and storage is great. The only thing I would like is to be able to do is switch the recliners and the couch locations.
No major problems, we are able to fix most ourselves.

Well now, we also have a 3465sa and we are in SC. We are at James Island CG. Had a chance today to see a lot of Charleston, what a beautiful place.

To " The Old Fogies" post. In our 3455SA we saw an earlier post on the topic of switching the couch and recliners position. The couch , if stored by flipping it on its back during transport , will clear the slides. Makes a huge difference in the useability of our space. The couch will cover a heater vent which needs to be sealed in some fashion. I sealed mine with heavy aluminum foil fitted to the underside on the vent and sandwiched between the vent flange and flooring.

I'll have to look at that. That would give you more room.
