2017 Chevy Silverado new 6.6 L Duramax
We already knew that General Motors, having announced in early June that something powerful was “hiding” beneath the new hood scoop and new cold air intake system, had something up its sleeve for its 2017 model year heavy duty trucks. Since then, we’ve been patiently waiting for even the slightest bit of info about the 2017 model year HD trucks. The wait is now (partially) over, since GM’s just-published order guides reveal the complete updates and changes to the 2017 Silverado HD family, which includes the 2017 Silverado 2500HD and 2017 Silverado 3500HD

Let the fun begin. Ford and GM will play chicken one upping the other until Ford releases its 2017 aluminum Super Duty. And we will win. We will wind up with a more powerful truck. I here 960 pound feet for Ford and possibly 1000.

The 2017 Superduty's started arriving at dealers last week. They are rated at 440 HP and 925 foot pound torque.

I really like the looks of the new Chevy truck. It says I'm new while being all Chevy. Nice.
Some people including the magazines complained the 2014 truck looked dated. I had no problem with it but you can't say that about this one.
