Emergency tire cooling, or place to dump in Tucson

I was pulling back out on I-10 from the Pilot Truck Stop just before downtown Tucson yesterday when a large toy hauler shot by in the next lane over. Just as he went past, the cap on his sewer popped open and he took a full dump on his left side tires at about 70mph. Made a mess out of the road and put some interesting spray on the side of his rig and a couple of cars behind and beside him. Not sure how he accomplished that. Only thing I can think of is that he was boondocking and had the cap on but his valves open and didn't realize it.

That definitely sounds like a mess.
I’m glad we weren’t behind him!

I'm gagging and laughing at the same time getting this visual in my mind! What a mess that must have been.

How true, however if you have a vision of poop hitting the fan, two tires at 70 make a pretty good fan. When it first opened I thought he had a tire on fire, looked like heavy smoke, then when the full flow hit you could tell it wasn't smoke.

Now that's funny! I hadn't thought about that, but there's plenty of bikes on the road out here, as you know. My guess would be that stuff was slippery enough to have been more problems than the obvious, which wouldn't have been funny.

Yes it did, and what must have been some mostly full tanks combined with dumping it out on concrete and wheels moving at 79 it not only happened it flew also. No need of a fan.

That entrance has a long merging ramp and while he was taking a long dump I was taking a long merge. No doubt got some on my tires and wheel wells but it was pretty liquified by then and the flow was only a dribble compared to when I first noticed it. Since I quit licking my tires and wheel wells some time back it shouldn't be a problem. Better than the skunk I hit in Michigan.

I'll bet! Skunks are no fun - except for l-o-n-g distance target practice maybe.

It is too bad that didn't happen in a different area, like where Ozz's cop friend likes to check for multiple plates on TV's. Now that WOULD have been funny if he would have been right beside him trying to see that back license plate when the s..h..happen!
