Wish I had a Campfire.
6 degrees here in Salisbury, NC and feels like 0. A warm campfire would feel good right now. Everyone stay safe and warm out there.

Walked out on back porch this am and saw our lake frozen. This is not the Tarheel State weather I love. I'm really looking forward to James Island. As Jim says, "HITCH FEVER". And yes , all stay safe and warm!

21 in Del Rio, 2 1/2 hours west of San Antonio. From what I was told by the park owner, we are the only ones with heat tape on our water lines and she tried to convince me not to hook up the electric cord to it as we wouldn't need it. Well, we've got water this morning. I wonder about every body else.

The Global Warming is down in Antarctica where those folks we stuck in the ice, remember its summer down there.

well it was 17 there at James Island this morning and water faucets were frozen, but ours was disconnected. They had a notice to leave the water dripping--can you imagine what that would be like to have to skate on a pond of ice when you got ready to leave.

It hit -13 last night and the wind chills yesterday were -40. I actually had to wear a jacket when I went outside! Also spent 2 hours blowing the snow out of the drive and other places. No complaints though. I love diversity in the weather.
And in case you are wondering, the truck fired right up this morning.

Was 78 degrees yesterday, and about 70 today. Almost time to put on long pants.

Here in Alabama 11 overnight last night, high of 25 today. It's only suppose to be like this for a couple more days. I'm too lazy to break out the heat tapes and insulation for the water line, so we hook up the hose when we need it and bring it in and store it in the shower when we don't. The furnace and fireplace have worked wonderfully keeping the Big Sky comfortably warm.
