Crown makes excellent deep cycle batteries including a true 12 volt deep cycle. I do prefer them over Trojan or any other lead acid battery I've used. I've yet to find their equal when comparing price to performance. I've used them in our scissor lifts as well as our RV's.
No doubt I'll go back to Crown when I replace the 12 volt marine batteries that came in the Montana.

Baldicon: we have a 3160RL and only have 1 battery, also. I don't know, but maybe the bigger rigs require 2 batteries.

If you're not boondocking, your two 12v batteries will be enough, as long as you maintain them, including using a small solar battery maintainer while the rig is in storage.

respponding to the orginal start of thread. what is 'a joke' about 2-12 volt batteries? you mean the quality of them?
having 2-12 volt batteries are fine, you said you will probably never dry camp so what you have would be fine.
batteries will generally last a couple of years before you have to buy new ones.

I have 2 Battle Born lithium batteries and love them. Go to their site or call and they can tell you if you charger will work. My 2017 does. The weight of 2 lithium is the same as or less than 1 lead acid. True 200 amp hours, you would need 4 12v lead acid for that (can't discharge below 50% to prevent damage). Thousands or recharging cycles and I have completely discharged both batteries twice and no damage and fully recharged in about 4 hours on generator. They are expensive but I feal well worth it. I plan to get 2 more for more time on battery with the residential frig.

Wow - just saw your post about the $ 50 deep cycle batteries. You were one lucky dude !
I just replaced two crappy Interstate 6V "deep cycle" batteries with Trojans, for a mere
$ 229 CAD each plus all of the taxes. Price of living on Fantasy (Vancouver) Island, I guess.
