Thanks to all.

First of all I would like to thank everyone for all the input regarding my questions regarding what is the best truck for me. The HELP threat got lots of response and advise.

Ok, pulled the plug and purchase a used 2019 F-350 4X4 short bed 6.7L Diesel. It only had 12,150 miles on it so figured is wasn't even broke in yet. Got a pretty good deal on it also so all ended well. Hope it preforms as my old 2012 F-250 6.2 gasser did, I'm sure it will pull the new Montana a lot easier for sure!!

Again, THANKS to all for all your advise and helpful suggestions!!

I think well I know you will like your new truck and with only 12000 miles it is new.

Be very careful when making a turn while backing up. I've got a friend that got a short bed PU and when I mentioned that to him he said "it's no big deal". On his second trip he crushed his truck's back window and damaged his cab.

An auto slider hitch will make cab contact a non issue.

Agree but he was dead set on getting the Anderson hitch because he felt the short bed was a non-issue. I suggested the slider but he would have no part of it.

The 6.7 drivetrain setup is a great choice. Mine has been very reliable.
