Heading home to Calif.
Left Kerrville this am and are now in Lubbock. Cold and windy. Went to the Buddy Holly Museum well worth the time. They have added Billy's bedroom since I was hear last.
I want to say a big thanks for all the work that was done to make this a great rally. I know how hard it is toput on events and can't say thanks enough.
On ward to Raton, NM tomorrow.

When we entered Amarillo there were big signs saying Hyw 87 was closed at the Texas NM line and that was the way we were going. Weather was sunny and bright so we proceeded. When we got to the border the road was open and clear but it had been closed the day before.
We are now in Raton, NM and it is sunny and mid 40 outside. Tomorrow we go north up I-25 to Loveland, CO. Hope to see some really great sites of the Rocky Mountains.

We are now Loveland, CO waiting for the AAA dude to unlock our truck. Gail managed to lock all three sets of keys in the truck. Fortunatly we are already in the RV park so waiting is no big deal. It is raining outside but the weather is supposed to be better tomorrow for our trip to Rock Springs, WY.

Sounds like you and Gail are having a interesting trip.
Are you picking up the new Monty on the way home or after you get back?

I take that Dodge doesn't have an external entry keypad that one can use without keys? Some brands do!

Women! Don, you should know better than to let them have all the keys to the kingdom.
It really was her fault, right?

We are currently in Deming, N. Mex, hoping that the wind will go elsewhere. We stopped on our way west in Ft. Stockton and decided to wait for two days to make the trip. The wind was awful even after waiting, but glad that we stopped and hunkered down. Wind is supposed to be lighter tomorrow (Sunday) so are headed to Las Vegas, Nev. to visit family over Easter.
We are very happy to have met all of the Kerrville Rally attendees, and wish that we had taken more time to match names and faces together. Hope you'all have safe trips home. :-)
